S.E.A.L. Robotics Team members are expected to attend all meetings.  Occasionally a meeting may be missed due to a legitimate reason (Examples: Family out of town, illness, family event).  Normal meetings are held every Sunday at the Greensboro Forge from 2:00pm until 5:00pm.  Times of meetings may change slightly depending on the team's projects and deadlines.  Generally, in the spring we will meet for longer and more often, as we approach competitions.

The main tool for communication for the team is an app called GroupMe which works similar to a text group chat.  Parents as well as team members are required to be part of the team's GroupMe group.   At times the Robotics Team works with dangerous tools including, but not limited to: Power tools, Plasma cutters, Laser cutters, CNCs, etc.   Team Members will receive proper training and supervision from parent mentors when using such tools.  Team Members are expected to listen to and accept guidance from adult mentors, and to work well together with other members.  When given a task, the member is expected to take initiative and communicate with other team members to complete the task on time.

Current team membership dues are $200.00 per quarter. All payments are made via PayPal.  100% of the team dues are used for team expenses, such as project materials, equipment, and membership at The Forge.

give permission for the person above to participate on the in S.E.A.L. Robotics Team.  As a prospective team member, I am willing to listen, learn, be respectful to all members/adults/mentors and to the building/premises & equipment wherever we work / meet.  Also, I will have a positive-team attitude.  Parent/Guardian further agrees that any and all injuries that occur during any team activities are not the fault of the SEAL Robotics Team, not any of the organization's officers or members or mentors.  S.E.A.L. Robotics and its officers, team and adult mentors will not be held responsible for any injuries to members.
